Take part in the Town Centre Helfa Celf Ponty- Arty Treasure Hunt! From Monday 20th February - Friday 24th February (10am-4pm)

Attend FREE Drama Workshops at Pontypridd Museum-
Tuesday 21st February 10am-1pm
Friday 24th February 12:30-3:30pm

Free Half Term Crafts- Wednesday 22nd February Pontypridd Museum 11am-3pm

Pick up your Arty Treasure Hunt questions from stores with posters in the window and from the Arty Treasure Hunt Venues
*Hint: The Arty Treasure Hunt questions are available at:
Venues: Pontypridd Museum, Gwynns Opticians, Sweet Memories (in the market), Pontypridd libray and Kraft Cabin
Other shops: Koo Koo Madame, Organic Food Homebrew, Izzit Accessories, Dharmakala, Subway, Churchills, Boots, Kumars Café, Pet shop, The Muni, Harvest Books and Crafts, the NYPD Pancake Department, Sugar and Spice, Pep&Co and Lloyds Pharmacy (near the fountain)

What do I need to do?

You can begin the Arty Treasure Hunt anywhere, and the questions can be answered in any order. Just look for the question number on the Arty Treasure Hunt Frame. Once you have all your answers, collect your prize at any of the Arty Treasure Hunt venues!

The Arty Treasure Hunt can be done in any order- beginning at any location.

Questions can be answered in any order.

Questions can be answered in English or Welsh.

The leaflet can be filled in either by one person or for the whole group e.g. a family can have one leaflet between them all, and still redeem for a prize for each person in the group.

Prizes can be collected at any of the Arty Treasure Hunt venues.

Only leaflets with all completed questions can be redeemed for a prize.

Completed questions are redeemed for a prize at the discretion of the Arty Treasure Hunt venue holders. If they have a strong reason to suspect of cheating they may deny a prize.

The trail can be completed in one day or over the course of the week.

Bravery, innovation, leadership, selflessness: just some of the attributes that were celebrated last night with the return of the annual South Wales Police Awards last night. The awards, held at Brangwyn Hall in Swansea, recognised officers, staff, volunteers and partners who have gone above and beyond for the force and the communities served by South Wales Police. The Taff Neighbourhood Policing Team which serves the community of Pontypridd, were nominated for two awards - the Police Community Support Officer of the Year Award & the Police and Crime Commissioner Exceptional Problem Solving in Partnership Award. The Taff team were successful in securing both awards, a major achievement for the town's local Policing team. The first award for the Taff Neighbourhood Policing Team went to PCSO Hannah Lowe who was described as the "Heart and soul of Pontypridd town" - Hannah Lowe, who is committed to tackling crime and disorder and is an integral part of initiatives including Pontypridd Outreach, a Halloween trail and a building painting project.
