A huge thank you to everyone who voted for the Hope Rescue Charity Shop in our competition for the Pontypridd Business Improvement District ‘Best Dressed Window’ award for Christmas 2017.

The winning display was chosen by voters online on the BID's Facebook page, we received a huge response with the post reaching 20,000 users and over 700 people voted, eight businesses in the Business Improvement District participated.

AM for Pontypridd Mick Antoniw, who presented the award to our Retail Manager, Katy Scourfield said: “Congratulations to Hope Rescue who managed to fend off some fierce completion to win the public vote. Hope Rescue is doing important work by rehoming dogs and promoting responsible dog ownership and I’m delighted to present them with this well-deserved award.”

BID Manager Victoria Pulman said: "Congratulations to Katy and the team at Hope Rescue, this is the first year the BID have run this award and we've had a great response from all the businesses involved. Hope Rescue have beaten strong competition, and we look forward to doing it all again next year'

Katy Scourfield responded:“We’re absolutely thrilled to win this award. Our team of twenty volunteers work incredibly hard to provide high quality displays and a special service all year around, so this award is for the whole team. I’d like to thank all our customers for supporting Hope Rescue.”

Congratulations and well done to the Charity Shop team!
