Pontypridd Osteopathic Clinic are celebrating their 30th anniversary since they were established in 1988, the clinic have always strived to provide a caring professional approach and their excellent customer service has made them one of the most reliable and trusted businesses in Pontypridd. Principal Osteopath Angela Cavil is already looking towards the next three decades and said ‘I’m proud to say we’ve been treating the people of Pontypridd and the Rhondda Valleys for 30 years and what a journey it has been. We would like to thank all our patients for being part of the journey and look forward to easing those pains for another 30 years.’

The 30th anniversary also marks a start of a new era for Pontypridd Osteopathic Clinic as they launch their new rebrand of the clinic, including a new logo, and new website coming very soon. The Clinic will be celebrating their 30th anniversary this evening with a get together at 9 Gelliwastad Road, enjoy a cake and a glass of prosseco between 4pm and 7pm. All are welcome to attend, and the BID would like to pass on their congratulations to Angela and the team.

Bravery, innovation, leadership, selflessness: just some of the attributes that were celebrated last night with the return of the annual South Wales Police Awards last night. The awards, held at Brangwyn Hall in Swansea, recognised officers, staff, volunteers and partners who have gone above and beyond for the force and the communities served by South Wales Police. The Taff Neighbourhood Policing Team which serves the community of Pontypridd, were nominated for two awards - the Police Community Support Officer of the Year Award & the Police and Crime Commissioner Exceptional Problem Solving in Partnership Award. The Taff team were successful in securing both awards, a major achievement for the town's local Policing team. The first award for the Taff Neighbourhood Policing Team went to PCSO Hannah Lowe who was described as the "Heart and soul of Pontypridd town" - Hannah Lowe, who is committed to tackling crime and disorder and is an integral part of initiatives including Pontypridd Outreach, a Halloween trail and a building painting project.
