Six meals for the Six Nations at The Tumble Inn

With the Six Nations approaching fast, we've created a guide with The Tumble Inn (Wetherspoons) with six meals to enjoy when watching all the games at the pub!

1. Welsh Dragon Sausages and Mash

As part of their recently introduced Welsh menu, this dish consists of three UK pork, leek & chilli sausages, a smooth Caerphilly cheese & leek mash, peas and gravy! 1015 kcal (Vegetarian option available) Ⓥ 816kcal

2. Triple Chicken Feast

This popular choice is a feast of chicken cooked three ways - cooked chicken breast, tangy & spicy chicken wings and delicious southern-fried strips. The dish is complete with chips, a char-grilled mini corn-on-the-cob, BBQ sauce and coleslaw!

3. Gourmet Vegetable Burger

A recent addition on Wetherspoons new Gourmet Burger Range, the Gourmet Vegetable burger, suitable for vegetarians features a vegetable patty, guacamole, houmous, pico de gallo & rocket with a unique combination of flavours. The burger is also served with chips & six onion rings.

4. Sweet Potato, chickpea & spinach curry

Fourth on the list is The Tumble Inn's fragrant and wholesome sweet potato, chickpea and spinach curry. Curries are served with basmati pilau rice, plain naan bread, poppadums.

Half rack of BBQ pork ribs and six onion rings

Chicken breast bites (Battered chicken with sticky soy sauce)

Bravery, innovation, leadership, selflessness: just some of the attributes that were celebrated last night with the return of the annual South Wales Police Awards last night. The awards, held at Brangwyn Hall in Swansea, recognised officers, staff, volunteers and partners who have gone above and beyond for the force and the communities served by South Wales Police. The Taff Neighbourhood Policing Team which serves the community of Pontypridd, were nominated for two awards - the Police Community Support Officer of the Year Award & the Police and Crime Commissioner Exceptional Problem Solving in Partnership Award. The Taff team were successful in securing both awards, a major achievement for the town's local Policing team. The first award for the Taff Neighbourhood Policing Team went to PCSO Hannah Lowe who was described as the "Heart and soul of Pontypridd town" - Hannah Lowe, who is committed to tackling crime and disorder and is an integral part of initiatives including Pontypridd Outreach, a Halloween trail and a building painting project.
