KooKoo Madame, owned and run by Rez & Emma Jamal on Mill Street have been selected as one of only three businesses in Wales as part of VISA UK's Christmas campaign which aims to support high street businesses throughout the UK. Mrs Jamal said "I spent many years working for high street retailers and it was always a dream to set up my own boutique. I'm lucky to be part of a thriving business community in Pontypridd from which I've managed to build a very loyal customer base."

KooKoo Madame were selected as one of 100 independent retailers nationwide, the campaign includes personalised adverts on billboards in prime locations and geo-targeted ads on social media (see above) putting businesses in the spotlight leading up to Christmas.

The BID would like to congraulate KooKoo Madame on being selected as part of VISA UK's campaign, earlier this year Emma Jamal gave an inspiring interview as part of the BID's 'Our Past, Our Future, Your Pontypridd ' campaign, you can read all about Emma's journey here!
